Coaches Relay Information
Since 2015, SMI has hosted the exciting
Event #101: a 200-yard Mixed Freestyle Relay
for Coaches.
In years past, coaches and assistant coaches have been put on random teams based on their presumed swimming ability in order to seed the event without a dominating winner.
Beginning this year, the Coach Relay will now be swum with coaches from the same teams competing together in the same lane.
(GKAISA teams with less than four coaches will be combined with another team lacking enough entries.)
*Rumor has it.... we MAY determine heat placement by League... "fastest coaches team in the league!????"
Coaches (or Team Representatives) are to enter themselves via the link below. Ideally, entry should be made at the same time student swimmers are entered for the meet.---but somehow it seems to be the last thing on their mind.
SWIMMERS: Encourage your coach you want to seem THEM racing!!! on Sunday!!!
